Coffee Enemas; The New Norm

“K Tasha, but are they actually normal?”

It depends on your perspective. Some think it’s ‘normal’ to poop once a week.

Do you see where I’m going with this?

Everyone creates what normal is because of how one was raised. Let me help you in recreating those belief systems.

You can build upon me saying…YES! COFFEE ENEMAS ARE NORMAL!! ; )

When I was younger I had debilitating pains.

I was constipated and had massive logs that hurt sooo bad coming out. Too much info? Sorry, not sorry. lol

Hey- everybody is poopin’ . . . I’m just not weirded out to talk about it! hahaha

I can almost hear the click of many people exiting my webpage right now lol, it’s glorious isn’t it??

So with my constipation, I also had incontinence of the bladder. I went to the chiropractor at the age of 11 because I had pinched nerves. When I was 18 they told me I had degenerative disc disease and I couldn’t do anything about it.

Now at age 34, I know how all of these are linked. For me…it connects to my inability to detox PLUS issues in nutritional absorption. If I accepted what the chiropractor told me, there wouldn’t be any other options.

DDD (degenerative disc disease) is incurable they told me.

Guess what?

I’ve rebuilt my discs. Back pain is very rare these days. I’m so grateful I took my health into my own hands and trusted my intuition and found a way to heal.

Oh, how I wish I had known about coffee enemas when I was a teenager!

Why do I love them so much?

When I first started using coffee enemas, my bowel movements were kinda haphazard. If I had a stressful day, I often wouldn’t poop. Or it would come out loose…or compacted…or…or…or

It was so inconsistent.

Gas and bloating was daily. EVEN while eating sooooo stinkin’ clean.

Clean being—

No processed foods/sugars

No fruit sugars except apples

No meat unless it was from my own animal I harvested and freshly cooked

Whole foods and veggies

I even cut out my beloved raw milk for a few months to see if the bloating would go away.

It was mind-boggling!!!! to say the least. I was so frustrated. My body was saying I literally couldn’t eat anything!! Ugh.

Insert coffee enemas. (no pun intended)

My very first was with the help of my lovely handsome husband lol. I’m so grateful he wanted to test out this wellness tool of the olden days!! It also terrified me because I worried I was going to mess up his colon along with mine.

With full disclosure that I had no clue what I was doing, he continued on the coffee enema train with me. Awe…alllll the heart eyes for this man. We are both very glad we continued.

I’m not a podcast listener or a great researcher when it comes to my own health. I LOVE learning through experience. It solidifies in my brain what my body is feeling and needing.

When I began I roughly did about three enemas per week.

I am now doing daily coffee enemas or a filtered water-probiotic and mineral-rich solution enema. And that will likely change once I feel my body has detoxed to a point where it can keep up. I see myself getting to where I do a weekly enema on the regular…plus additional depending on moon cycles or stress levels.

Right now though, my liver has 30+ years of inefficient detoxing. It was crazy…one of the very first coffee enemas I did I was able to hold it in for 15 minutes. The funny thing was - it didn’t come out! I was slightly freaking out.

Jumping to conclusions, I figured I was going to die. No. I’m not dramatic at all. Okay, I was also worried I was going to poop my pants at our family function. NOT a fun experience.

Turns out— if you do an enema and it stays in your colon it means, you are extremely dehydrated. Great news, I wasn’t going to die from a weird enema issue. And I didn’t poo my pants. YAY! lol

The biggest takeaway I’ve learned in any healing process is don’t give up after the first week.

Now, months later I have seen so many benefits—

✔️ Bloating is gone

✔️ Better sleep

✔️ Clearer skin

✔️ More energy

✔️ No brain fog

✔️ Less sugar cravings

To be completely honest…I’m not perfect.

Wait, what?

I will sneak processed foods on occasion and feel the gas and bloating build up. Poor sleep and stress are common because I don’t deal with my emotions in a great way. All this happens and any of the positive benefits I listed above can reverse.

So it isn’t a magic pill fix and no more problems ever again. It is a tool. And when used well with good guidance it can assist you in having an amazing lifestyle.

When I start my morning off with ‘coffee’ [tehe] I set the stage for better choices throughout the day. (Most of the time)

I can give this example—

Emotionally I was DONE for the day so I reached for all the things…

Candy corn, ice cream, sugar of any kind.

And I binged.

No sooner was I done, than the most foul gas erupted from my person. My guts were screaming. I had done a coffee enema that morning and still made poor self-care decisions.

So I did a water enema with probiotics and minerals to aid in these said poor decisions. I felt so much relief! The gas went away and I had no bloating whatsoever the next day.

For me, I enjoy a lifestyle that allows for those rough moments.

When I binge eat like that it reminds me why I live the way I do.

Life has challenges and it’s okay to be human. It’s okay to make mistakes. Everyone is striving to do better each day.

I promise you’re doing better than you think you are.

Get moving on your health today. And tomorrow. And the next day :)

xoxo-

Tasha

P.S. Purelife Enema Coffee is the coffee brand I use and here’s the kit. If you need any additional info The Ancient Health podcast has a great overview of “how to” do a coffee enema.
