Easy 10 minute Sour Cream

K when I say 10 minute, I’m referring to prep time! Just throwing that out there. Lol!

You’ll need:

2 pints raw milk cream

1 packet mesophilic culture

Heat cream 70-72F. Remove from heat.

Add cultures - Sprinkle on top of the cream evenly to prevent clumping. Let set for 2 minutes then stir in.

Pour into glass jars and cover with lid.

Let cream sit for 12-24 hours at room temperature.

You can check your sour cream by smell, taste, jiggle the jar…and you decide what you like best!

The less time it sits, the less tangy and thick it will be. I loved mine right at the 24hr mark.
